DESCRIPTION
PASCObot is an Educational-Robots from PASCO scientific. It is built for Education.
PASCObot (PS-2994) is a small educational wheeled robot from PASCO scientific for teaching coding, robotics and sense-and-control in middle and high school STEM classes. It is built from just six pieces - a durable plastic body, two wheels, two high-speed stepper motors and a rechargeable //control.Node - and is programmed in Blockly, the block-based coding built into PASCO's SPARKvue and Capstone software. Code runs live over Bluetooth or is stored on the //control.Node and executed on its own, and students can collect and graph real-time data from PASCO sensors while it runs, or use sensor readings as inputs to build feedback loops and autonomous behaviour.\nThe //control.Node sits in the back of the robot as its brain and power source, with an onboard accelerometer, speaker, sensor port, two stepper-motor outputs, two servo ports, a rechargeable Li-ion battery, Bluetooth Low Energy and USB. Plug-in accessories sold separately - a Line Follower Module, a Range Finder Module and a Gripper Accessory - let it follow lines, avoid obstacles, navigate mazes and move objects; nine ready-made student activities lead from first movements to a synthesis project. The robot measures 14 x 17 x 10 cm and reaches 0.43 m/s.
