Graal Tech MGB-300 USV mobile gateway buoy

DESCRIPTION

MGB-300 is an Industrial-Robot from Graal Tech. It is built for Surveying, Monitoring. Key figures: 28 kg, 720 min runtime.

MGB-300 is the newest autonomous vehicle in Graal Tech's X-300 family, an unmanned surface vehicle (USV) that acts as a mobile gateway buoy. Working with one or more X-300 AUVs, it relays data between the underwater vehicles and the control station: two retractable rods, folded for transport, open vertically in operation, one carrying a UHF radio modem above the surface for the long-range link and the other carrying an underwater acoustic modem for submerged assets. The 2,044 mm long, 2,017 mm high vehicle weighs 28 kg, is positively buoyant by 2 to 4 kg, travels at 2 knots (up to 4 if required) and runs 12 hours at maximum speed on a 14.4 V, 1,200 Wh Li-ion battery. A bi-directional rear thruster with a drive leg and bow and stern steering thrusters make it manoeuvrable; payload modules and equipment on the underwater rod can be added, and an open control system with a ROS-based interface exposes all sensors and actuators. It communicates by Wi-Fi up to 1 km and UHF radio modem up to 10 km.
