Ishikawa Iron Works Hyper Mogurinko remote-controlled pipe inspection robot

DESCRIPTION

Hyper Mogurinko is a Mobile-Robots from Ishikawa Iron Works. It is built for Data Collection, Inspection. Key figures: 8 kg, 90 min runtime.

Hyper Mogurinko is a tethered, remote-controlled inspection robot for sewers and other pipes of 200 to 350 mm. Six low-pressure wheels in an inverted V use skid steering, so it can turn on the spot and hold itself level in round pipes through its mechanical layout alone, with no tracks or belts for mud and debris to jam. It is waterproof, runs through still and flowing water, and can be washed down whole after use. It reaches 10 m/min with 7 kg of pulling force, and batteries give about 1 to 1.5 hours per charge. A handheld controller with a 5.6-inch monitor runs driving, lights, camera and voice notes, while the 190-degree 380,000-pixel camera records to an SD card under 32-step LED lighting. The marked 50 m cable, or 100 m on some units, shows position and can pull the robot back. Options on the maker's page include drive and zoom cameras, a gyro for mapping pipe gradient and a long-range version.
