Ishikawa Iron Works Mogurinko 200 standalone pipe inspection crawler

DESCRIPTION

Mogurinko 200 is a Mobile-Robots from Ishikawa Iron Works. It is built for Data Collection, Inspection. Key figures: 5.4 kg, 360 min runtime, price ¥1,000,000.

Mogurinko 200 is a standalone sewer inspection crawler for 200 mm pipes, and Ishikawa also pictures a Mogurinko 350 version on the same page. An operator sets it at the pipe entrance, switches it on and collects it at the exit, with no cable or external power needed for a screening inspection. An infrared remote can also set start, stop and direction. It travels at 13.7 m/min on crawlers set in an inverted V, which Ishikawa says makes inspection three to four times faster than conventional methods. Two rechargeable 7.2 V batteries give about 6 hours per charge, and a 440,000-pixel CCD camera records to an SD card. Detachable mission modules adapt it to other jobs, and bundled software builds reports from the recorded video and audio.
