They have been used for cockpit, fuselage, spar, panel, centre wing box and wing assembly - including continuously moving aerospace assembly lines, three AGVs for F-35 centre wing box production and synchronised AGVs that lift, level and move wing components up to 110 ft long - as well as for moving aluminium ingots and coils and transporting components and tooling through a nuclear power plant. Capacities reach 250,000 lbs (113,636 kg), with speeds up to 240 ft per minute, magnetic bar, optical or inertial guidance with +/- 5 mm positioning repeatability, low- or high-voltage power with lead-acid, lithium-ion or induction power, Siemens or Rockwell PLC control, onboard safety scanners and bumpers, and an optional vehicle management system for fully automated movement.
