DESCRIPTION
The OL1200S is Grenzebach's omnidirectional AGV, aimed at long goods carriers and large components — the loads that would otherwise need a tugger train. Being omnidirectional, it can move sideways and rotate in place, so it manoeuvres big carriers in spaces a conventional vehicle could not use. It takes 1,200 to 1,500 kg and travels at up to 1.66 m/s, a little slower than its stablemates, with the same plus or minus 15 mm typical positioning, two certified safety laser scanners and free contour navigation. Like the L1200S it is 330 mm tall for under-ride work, on a 1,450 by 760 mm footprint. Grenzebach's pitch is that replacing a tugger train with these raises throughput while cutting the peripheral equipment a train needs.
