DESCRIPTION
A telescopic mobile robot that reaches 6 m (20 ft) up a rack to fetch storage totes the shorter Autopicker cannot, then returns them to their upper-level slot once picking is done. Pairing the two lets a warehouse store slow movers high and fast movers low, which Brightpick puts at triple the storage density of manual operations and double its own previous solution. A typical deployment runs one Giraffe to five Autopickers. Beyond tote retrieval it also handles inventory replenishment and order picking.
FEATURES
- Telescopic mast reaching 6 m (20 ft) to access upper-level shelf positions.
- Works in tandem with Brightpick Autopicker robots, which reach up to 3.4 m (11 ft): Giraffe brings high totes down to them and returns the tote afterwards.
- Up to 3x the storage density of manual operations, and 2x Brightpick's previous solution.
- Typical ratio of one Giraffe per five Autopickers.
- Also performs inventory replenishment and order picking.
- Winner of a 2026 RBR50 Innovation Award from The Robot Report.
