The CAPRA200 is the lighter of Capra Robotics' two outdoor-capable mobile robot platforms, built on the company's patented flexible four-wheel chassis that keeps all wheels on the ground over kerbs, gravel and rough terrain as well as on paved urban areas. Capra configures it with tools for jobs such as substation inspection and perimeter control (Capra Scout) or urban tasks like cigarette-butt removal and de-icing (Capra Urban), and integrators can add their own equipment through its ROS 2 interface. It measures 1,125 x 600 x 373 mm and weighs 50 kg with two batteries, has four 250 W hub motors, carries up to 50 kg and tows up to 200 kg at up to 6 km/h, and climbs 50% slopes and 140 mm steps. With up to four 25.9 V, 20 Ah Li-NMC batteries it runs up to 20 hours and 105 km, recharging wirelessly from 20 to 80% in an hour. It is IP65, works from -20 to +40 °C, senses with 2D and 3D lidar and a depth camera, meets ISO 3691-4 and RIA R15.08-1, and can be driven by VDA 5050 fleet systems over Wi-Fi or 5G.
