DESCRIPTION
Atrax is a Military from Shark Robotics. It is built for Exploration, Inspection, Monitoring. Key figures: 75 kg, 360 min runtime, 50 kg payload, 1200 mm reach, 5 degrees of freedom, released 2018.
Atrax is a compact tracked EOD and demining robot built by Shark Robotics of La Rochelle, France, for explosive ordnance disposal, counter-IED and CBRN missions. A flipper-track chassis measuring 111.5 x 48 x 39 cm lets it work inside confined urban spaces, climb obstacles up to 20 cm and hold 40-degree slopes, while a motorised arm with 1,200 mm reach and a 200 mm clamp handles suspect devices at a distance - 12 kg bent lift, 6 kg straight. The 75 kg robot carries a 50 kg payload and runs 6 hours on two UN38.3-certified lithium-ion packs, recharging in 2 h 45. Modular bays accept jammers, manipulators, a 360-degree turret and CBRN sensor trays, and the IP65 body is controlled from the Shark Station remote at roughly 1,000 m line of sight with mesh relay.
