A telescopic mobile robot that reaches 6 m (20 ft) up a rack to fetch storage totes the shorter Autopicker cannot, then returns them to their upper-level slot once picking is done. Pairing the two lets a warehouse store slow movers high and fast movers low, which Brightpick puts at triple the storage density of manual operations and double its own previous solution. A typical deployment runs one Giraffe to five Autopickers. Beyond tote retrieval it also handles inventory replenishment and order picking.
