Lödige Industries automated guided vehicle for air-cargo ULDs (5 ft / 10 ft)

DESCRIPTION

ULD AGV is an Industrial-Robot from Lödige Industries. It is built for Intralogistics, Material-Handling, Transport. Key figures: 3300 kg, 6800 kg payload.

Lödige Industries' AGV is a self-navigating vehicle that carries air-cargo Unit Load Devices (ULDs) around cargo terminals, transferring them between import/export areas, build-and-break zones, storage locations and docks without fixed conveyors. It uses natural navigation with no physical guides, receives its routes from the warehouse management system (Lödige Cargo Professional) and loads and unloads at the air-cargo standard conveying height of 508 mm. The 10 ft version carries ULDs of up to 6,800 kg in narrow-edge or wide-edge orientation, measures 3,790 x 2,790 x 570 mm (NEP) and weighs 3,300 kg; a 5 ft version carries 1,588 kg. An omnidirectional drive lets it manoeuvre in tight spaces, it travels at up to 1.5 m/s (3.0 m/s as an option) and stops to within +/-10 mm, and an onboard roller conveyor moves the ULD on and off at 0.3 m/s. Lithium-ion batteries of up to 220 Ah charge inductively (20-80% in 1.5 hours, with opportunity charging) for 24/7 operation. Safety comes from two lidar scanners, LED indicators, emergency stops, conveyor plate stops and two 360-degree PTZ cameras, and the vehicle complies with ISO 3691-4 and ISO 13849. It interfaces with dollies, cargo pallet movers and manual handling areas, so terminals can scale their layouts without adding fixed conveyors.
