KARIS light is GEBHARDT's entry-level modular AGV for transporting goods from station to station around a fixed loop: it stops at a station, takes over the goods, delivers them to the next station and returns to the loop for its next job. Stations need little infrastructure, so existing conveyor modules or processing stations with any degree of automation can be integrated. It follows lanes and landmarks for stable, accurate positioning, has an integrated LiDAR scanner for safety, and is configured in four dimensions - top module, height, energy loading system and software - on a plug-and-play principle that lets users commission basic functions themselves. GEBHARDT quotes payback in under two years in most applications.
