DESCRIPTION
Novus Carry is an Industrial-Robot from The Hi-Tech Robotic Systemz Ltd.. It is built for Heavy-Load-Transportation, Intralogistics, Lifting. Key figures: 480 min runtime, 2000 kg payload.
Novus Carry is a family of autonomous mobile robots from Novus Hi-Tech (The Hi-Tech Robotic Systemz) that move bins, trolleys, pallets, fixtures and vehicle frames across assembly lines, paint shops and warehouses without floor markers. The company says the hardware, navigation software and fleet system are built in-house in India. Five payload classes share one platform: CARRY-250, CARRY-500, CARRY-1000, CARRY-1500 and CARRY-2000. The smaller models reach 1.5 m/s and the two largest 1.25 m/s, run about 8 hours per charge and recharge in 90 to 180 minutes. The four smaller models use differential drive and the CARRY-2000 a dual-drive, steer-assist chassis. Localization is by SLAM or V-SLAM with LiDAR and QR-assisted docking, and 3D LiDAR with 360-degree safety scanners lets the robots share floors with people. The CARRY-500 data sheet lists a 1,170 x 750 x 425 mm, 260 kg chassis with a 100 Ah battery, +/-10 mm positioning, IP21 and ISO 3691-4 design. Six plug-in tops (lifter, tugger, tunneling, conveyor loader, frame transport and pick assist) adapt the robot to each job. Fleets run on the Novus FMS, which supports VDA 5050, and Novus Analytics. Named users include Volvo Eicher, Asian Paints and John Deere.
