DESCRIPTION
Sekisyu CRAWLER is an Industrial-Robot from Topy Industries. It is built for Heavy-Load-Transportation, Intralogistics, Material-Handling. Key figures: 500 kg payload.
Sekisyu CRAWLER is Topy Industries' crawler-type AGV for carrying heavy loads in factories and warehouses, built to improve worker safety and ease labour shortages. Its crawler tracks give a large contact area and strong propulsion, so it handles rough ground, asphalt and slopes, and it can move straight forward, backward, left and right without turning, which suits narrow and complicated routes. It comes in two heights. Both are 1,184 mm long, carry up to 500 kg, climb an 8% (5 degree) slope and travel at up to 2 km/h lengthways and 0.5 km/h sideways, running 2-4 hours per charge. The 190 model is 570 mm wide and 190 mm high, weighs 130 kg and crosses 15 mm steps; the 245 is 665 mm wide and 245 mm high, weighs 150 kg and crosses 25 mm steps. Each slips under carts with 195 mm or 250 mm of clearance respectively. It is driven manually with a dedicated joystick or automatically by landmark navigation, and with NEC's Multi-Robot Controller several robots can be run together automatically.
