DESCRIPTION
CARRIE is an Industrial-Robot from HL Robotics. It is built for Intralogistics, Material-Handling, Transport. Key figures: 2000 kg payload.
CARRIE is HL Robotics' ultra-slim indoor AMR for smart logistics. About 14 cm high, it carries up to 2 tonnes - compared with roughly 30 cm and 1.3 t for typical ton-class logistics robots, by HL's survey of ten commercial models - so it can drive into low-clearance spaces such as under pallets. It moves omnidirectionally, including diagonally and rotating on the spot, so it needs no extra turning space or U-turns and can stack more goods in the same footprint than fork-type AMRs. It navigates within existing infrastructure and adapts to layout changes. HL calls it the world's first cooperative AMR: when a load exceeds one robot's capacity, CARRIE calls nearby partner robots to carry it together, so one platform can handle a wide range of cargo sizes and weights in warehouses, factories and data centres.
