Tompkins Robotics tSort Tray sortation robot

DESCRIPTION

tSort Tray is an Industrial-Robot from Tompkins Robotics. It is built for Intralogistics, Sorting, Transport. Key figures: 240 min runtime, 5 kg payload.

The tSort Tray is Tompkins Robotics' high-speed tilt-tray sortation robot for a wide range of items. It carries items of up to 5 kg (11 lb) and up to 558 x 381 mm (22 x 15 in) at speeds of up to 2.5 m/s, tipping its tray to drop each item into its destination. tSort is Tompkins Robotics' modular robotic sortation system: a fleet of independent robots runs across a modular sortation table on caster wheels, receives items at induction stations, where barcode scanners identify each item, and drops them into totes, cartons, mailbags or gaylords at up to 6,000+ destinations, with a system throughput of 50,000+ items per hour in up to 75% less space than traditional sorters. tSort robots accelerate at up to 2.0 m/s2, charge automatically on grid-mounted chargers (one per 15 robots) for 5-8 minutes to get up to 4 hours of operation while the system keeps full throughput, and operate from -20 to 55 C, so the system can run in chilled areas as well as ambient warehouses. Robots, induction points and table sections can be added or reconfigured as volumes change.
