DESCRIPTION
Sastra QUACO Pro D is an Industrial-Robot from Sastra Robotics. It is built for Manipulation, Testing, Inspection.
The QUACO Pro D is the large-screen member of Sastra's QUACO test range, built for devices whose displays are too big for the SCARA-based Pro S - up to 24 inches, across a 550 by 300 mm rectangular workspace. Where the S model uses a sixth-generation SCARA arm, the D model uses a Cartesian manipulator, which is what lets it cover a large flat display evenly. It carries a wide variety of test probes including multi-finger modules and automatic tool changes, so a single machine can perform multi-touch gestures, pinch and zoom, and mix static and dynamic fingers within one test sequence. Force control is the part that makes results comparable to a human's: touch force is adjustable from 0.3 to 3.6 N, held to plus or minus 25 g in fast mode and plus or minus 10 g in precision mode, with touch durations from 0.05 to 5 seconds. It reaches 350 mm/s linear speed and 8 clicks per second, connects over Ethernet, draws 330 W, and runs the same QUACO test suite - with integrated OCR and computer vision - as the rest of the series.
