DESCRIPTION
Mizzo Endo 4000 is a Medical-Robots from Meril. It is built for Medical-Assistance, Surgery, Remote.
Mizzo Endo 4000 is a multi-arm robotic system from Meril for minimally invasive soft-tissue surgery, designed and manufactured in India. Meril says more than 100 types of robot-assisted procedures are possible with it across urology, gynaecology, thoracic, gastro-intestinal, head and neck, general and oncological surgery. The system has four parts. An arm cart carries four robotic arms on a rotating boom and a control screen for positioning and setup. The surgeon works from an open console with multiple 3D HD screens, controlling wristed instruments with seven degrees of freedom; motion scaling from 1:1 to 10:1 and tremor filtering refine movements, and sensors on the hand controllers and near the energy foot pedals help prevent unintended actions. A universal vision cart holds a 3D 4K camera processing unit with ICG fluorescence imaging, a 32-inch 3D HD display and a Valleylab FX8 electrosurgical generator paired with an ultrasonic system; it can also be used for open and laparoscopic surgery. The instrument range includes monopolar scissors and hooks, bipolar forceps and graspers, needle drivers and an ultrasonic scalpel, with staplers, vessel sealers and clip appliers under development. The platform is telesurgery-ready for remote surgery and mentoring, and connects to Meril's STREAM cloud platform for recording and analysing procedures.
