Scythe M.52 autonomous commercial electric mower

DESCRIPTION

M.52 is an Agricultural-Robots from Scythe Robotics. It is built for Agriculture, Cleaning, Commercial lawn mowing. Key figures: 646 kg.

M.52 is Scythe Robotics' all-electric, fully autonomous commercial ride-on lawn mower, built for landscape maintenance crews. An operator drives the outside of a mow zone once so M.52 remembers it, then switches it to 'Scythe mode' and moves on to other work while the mower cuts the zone on its own, steering around trees and poles and stopping for people and pets; the robot is then loaded up and taken to the next job site. Its Scythe Sight perception system gives 360-degree coverage with automotive-grade sensors - eight HDR cameras, twelve ultrasonic sensors, two IMUs and GNSS - and it connects over Wi-Fi and 4G LTE to Scythe's fleet portal, with features such as task sequences that chain several mow zones together.\nIt has a 52-inch side-discharge mow deck with a 1.5-6 inch cut height, covers about 1.5-2 acres per hour, reaches 6.5 mph in autonomous mode, and runs all day on its battery, recharging on 240 V in 6-8 hours. It measures 69.5 x 65.6 x 46.8 inches (about 1.77 x 1.67 x 1.19 m) and weighs 1,425 lb (about 646 kg). Scythe reports customers adding about 20% to a crew's capacity and turning three- and four-person crews into two-person crews, and supports the mower with account management, bilingual training and support, field service and regular software updates. Since March 2026 Scythe is part of Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI).
