DESCRIPTION
Nimbo X is an Agricultural-Robots from Sveaverken. It is built for Agriculture. Key figures: 505 kg, 960 min runtime.
Nimbo X is Sveaverken's next-generation robotic feed pusher, navigating cattle barns with a 3D LiDAR instead of the visual navigation of the original Nimbo. The farm is first walked with a handheld laser scanner to build a 3D model of walls, feed tables and obstacles; routes are then drawn in the SveaMap tool, and only a 2-3 m magnetic path of about 35 nails is needed from the charging station. The LiDAR scans 200,000 points per second over a 360 x 59 degree field with 2 cm relative accuracy and 40-70 m range, and has a protective cover, a cleaning brush and a photosensitive plate for stable performance in any light. A 2 MP camera system adds obstacle detection and live video for remote control through the MooConnect app. It pushes feed at 18 m/min on two 400 W motors; its 48 V, 40 Ah battery charges in 4 hours and lasts about 24 tasks over two days or 16 hours continuous. The Nimbo X Plus lifts its roller for slopes up to 27%, and existing Nimbo units can be upgraded with a 3D Kit.
