DESCRIPTION
Fourier N1 is the company's first open-source humanoid, purpose-built for embodied-AI research — a 130 cm, 38 kg biped with 23 degrees of freedom and a top speed of 3.5 m/s, framed in lightweight aluminium alloy and engineering plastic for a clean, durable and stable hardware base. It is built to be pushed: N1 handles 15-20° slopes, climbs 20 cm stairs and performs complex movements including fast walking, running, single-leg balancing and ground push-ups, with over two hours of continuous runtime per charge for high-frequency testing. What makes it genuinely open is the release package — design schematics, a full bill of materials, assembly manuals and the basic operating software code all ship with the robot, so research teams can validate motion-control algorithms and explore new form factors rather than reverse-engineer a closed platform.
