DESCRIPTION
DRIVE is an Industrial-Robot from IMS Robotics. It is built for Cleaning, Inspection, Remote. Key figures: 21 kg.
The DRIVE is IMS Robotics' robust self-propelled cutting robot for small main sewers and sewage collectors from DN 150 to DN 400. It drives into the pipe on its own carriage, where its cutting arm turns through 400 degrees and swivels about 90 degrees to remove deposits and to reopen lateral connections after a liner has been installed, while an integrated colour camera with LED lighting shows the operator the cutting point. A pneumatic stabiliser braces the carriage for stability and traction, permanent internal nitrogen pressure monitoring protects the electronics, and a reverse-driving sensor helps on the way back. The system ships with a cable drum carrying 100 m or 150 m of supply hose and a removable control unit with two joysticks and a tablet; the carriage weighs about 21 kg.
