DESCRIPTION
Cruz is a Mobile-Robots from A&K Robotics Inc.. It is built for Navigation, Helping, Transport.
Cruz is A&K Robotics' autonomous, all-electric, shared-use mobility pod for large indoor venues - a single-seat self-driving chair-like vehicle with a luggage area that carries travellers, especially people with limited mobility, through airports, museums and malls. Purpose-built for use at scale in airports, it combines 360-degree, three-dimensional sensing from cameras, sonars and LiDARs, and its AI adapts the pod's navigation to crowd behaviour, continuously adjusting speed and path for a smooth ride. Passengers see where they are and where they are going through CruzMapping, real-time wayfinding maps that can be updated in seconds; staff dispatch and track pods through the cloud-connected CruzFleet software; and CruzRemote provides remote monitoring, over-the-air updates and passenger-flow insights, while automated diagnostics flag issues so technicians can be sent before failures occur. Cruz pods run at Vancouver International Airport and were piloted from 2025 with Aena at Madrid-Barajas Airport; Delta-Q supplies their battery chargers.
