DESCRIPTION

Colossus is a Military from Shark Robotics. It is built for Cleaning, Helping, Inspection. Key figures: 525 kg, 720 min runtime, 500 kg payload, released 2019.

Colossus is a heavy tracked firefighting robot from Shark Robotics of La Rochelle, France, designed to work where a crew cannot be sent. It carries a water/foam cannon flowing up to 3,000 L/min, moves a 500 kg payload, tows 1,100 kg and pushes 1,000 kg, and clears 30 cm obstacles on 40-degree slopes at up to 3.5 km/h. The 525 kg platform is 160 x 78 x 76 cm - narrow enough for a standard 78 cm doorway - sealed to IP67 against dust, water and radiant heat, and runs 12 hours on six UN38.3-certified lithium-ion packs. More than ten mission modules adapt it for suppression, casualty evacuation on a stretcher, PPV smoke extraction, a breathable-air supply and sensor carriage. Colossus is best known for its use by the Paris Fire Brigade during the 2019 Notre-Dame de Paris fire. Source: https://www.shark-robotics.com/colossus-firefighting-robot
