DESCRIPTION
Circus CA-1 Series 4 is a Food-Service-Robots from Circus SE. It is built for Dispensing, Food-Handling, Cooking. Key figures: released 2025.
The CA-1 is Circus' fully autonomous cooking robot: a complete kitchen in a glass-walled cell of about 7 m² that stores ingredients, cooks, plates and hands over hot meals without staff. Up to 36 fresh ingredients sit in a temperature-controlled, continuously monitored store and are portioned precisely, meals are cooked on induction, plated automatically and kept warm in eight heated pick-up stations, and the whole cycle is orchestrated by the AI-native CircusOS, which also forecasts demand and waste and pushes menu changes to every location. Circus says the Series 4 produces around 800 meals a day, needs about 90% less floor space than a conventional kitchen and runs 24/7 with minimal daily human interaction, with central fleet control across many cells. It targets offices and canteens, airports and stations, supermarkets, hotels, hospitals and campuses; installations include REWE supermarkets and Meta's Munich office. Circus unveiled the Series 4 and started volume production in April 2025.
