P-Robo is TechMagic's automated pasta-cooking robot, a full kitchen system that cooks a restaurant's pasta orders without a chef at the stove. Induction cookers with high power and rotation stir and heat sauce, ingredients and spaghetti together in about 30 seconds, while a robotic arm - travelling about six metres and rotating 420 degrees per meal - moves pans through the line to hold throughput. Cooking parameters such as rotation speed and heating time are tuned to reproduce an expert chef's recipe, and staff add or change recipes through a simple interface. Besides spaghetti it can cook cream pasta, penne, colza soba and fried rice. P-Robo made its debut in summer 2022 at Ebino Spaghetti, Pronto Corporation's restaurant in Tokyo's Marunouchi Building, described as the world's first with an automatic pasta-cooking robot, serving a dish about every 45 seconds.
