ChangingTek CTIMR01

DESCRIPTION

The CTIMR01 is ChangingTek's mobile manipulator — a six-degree-of-freedom collaborative arm mounted on an omnidirectional mobile base, which is the configuration that lets one machine both travel to a workstation and do precision work when it arrives. The interesting tension in its specification is the gap between what the base can carry and what the arm can lift: the platform handles up to 500 kg while the arm itself is rated at 5 kg over a 900 mm reach, so the machine is designed to transport a heavy fixture, tray or tooling load and then perform light, accurate manipulation on top of it. Arm repeatability is ±0.03 mm, fine enough for laboratory sample handling and electronics work, which matches the life-sciences and 3C applications ChangingTek shows it in. It runs under the company's integrated ChangingOS platform, which coordinates collaborative arms, mobile platforms and vision equipment together and supports both single-unit operation and multi-unit fleet scheduling.
