aunav.NEO HD variable-geometry EOD/IED/CBRN unmanned ground vehicle (lighter aunav.NEO configuration available)

DESCRIPTION

aunav.NEO HD is a Military from EM&E Group. It is built for Security, Inspection, Remote. Key figures: 300 min runtime, 75 kg payload.

The aunav.NEO HD is a medium-class unmanned ground vehicle for explosive ordnance disposal (EOD/IED) and CBRN missions, logistics support, casualty evacuation and reconnaissance, aimed at the military and first responders. Its patented variable-geometry system widens or narrows the robot automatically in a few seconds, from 400 mm to 680 mm, so it can drive down the aisle of an aircraft, bus or metro car, through tunnels or across rubble and open ground, and a self-stabilising platform keeps it level or holds its centre of gravity inside its footprint on stairs, ramps and slopes. Four independently or jointly moving flippers drive it at up to 5 km/h and up 45-degree slopes, and its main arm handles objects of up to 75 kg. Arm, flippers and batteries detach without tools for transport, plug-and-play payloads are detected and configured automatically, and autonomous indoor and outdoor navigation builds 3D maps, follows a person, backs out 15 m or returns to signal when the link drops. Folded it measures 815 x 564 x 848 mm, runs about 5 hours on BB-2590/U lithium-ion batteries and is driven from a tablet control unit showing up to 8 cameras at 700 m to 3 km. Spain's UME emergency unit and the Indonesian Navy have ordered NEO HD robots, and Singapore's DSTA has tested CASEVAC and logistics configurations.
