DESCRIPTION
OzBot Titan is a Military from BIA5. It is built for Exploration, Search-And-Rescue, Security.
The OzBot Titan is BIA5's tracked All Terrain Robot (ATR), a rugged unmanned ground vehicle platform built for high-risk operations by police, defence and emergency services. BIA5's OzBot platforms were designed with Deakin University's IISRI, have been used operationally in Australian policing, and can be adapted to carry tools and sensors such as ground-penetrating radar for mining, hazardous-area inspection and agriculture, with BIA5 providing training, modification, repair and servicing. CSIRO's Data61 team used Titans as the tracked element of its DARPA Subterranean Challenge fleet: a Titan qualified for the 2019 Tunnel Circuit, later Titans were made lighter and weight-balanced for stair climbing at extreme angles, carried a drone deployment platform and automatically deployed Rajant mesh-radio nodes, two OzBot Titans searched Queensland's Chillagoe-Mungana caves in 2020, and two BIA5 ATR platforms competed in the 2021 SubT final. In 2021 BIA5 and Reach Robotics fitted Reach Bravo manipulators to the ATR for explosive ordnance disposal, counter-IED, CBRN and hazardous-environment work.
