DESCRIPTION
ARC5 is an Industrial-Robot from Servus Intralogistics. It is built for Intralogistics, Material-Handling, Transport. Key figures: 50 kg payload.
The ARC5 (Autonomous Robotic Carrier) is the fifth-generation transport robot of Servus Intralogistics, the vehicle at the heart of its modular intralogistics system. Like a swarm of coordinated taxis, ARC5 robots travel autonomously on Servus's passive track profiles - often run overhead to free floor space - orienting themselves by high-precision RFID tags while in constant contact with the main control system, which sends each order to the nearest robot; swarm intelligence keeps traffic self-organised, and idle robots wait in parking positions. Each ARC5 communicates directly with lifts, switches and stations, so the system links storage, production, assembly and buffers across levels and buildings and can be expanded while running.\nInterchangeable load-handling devices - the Leanloader, Smartloader and a hopper for bulk goods - let it carry boxes, trays, cartons, workpiece carriers, bulk material and PCB racks of up to 50 kg and 850 x 600 mm. It reaches up to 5 m/s and accelerates at up to 1.5 m/s2, yet draws under 150 W in operation with regenerative braking and a near 1:1 weight-to-payload ratio, which Servus calls the most energy-efficient transport robot on the market. A supercapacitor recharges in seconds during process stops such as transfers or lift waits and feeds a lithium-ion battery, so the robots never need scheduled charging even in 24/7 operation. The ARC5 is certified for ISO 14644-1 cleanroom class 6, and its software shows each robot's position, speed, charge and cargo in real time for predictive maintenance.
