DESCRIPTION
AIM VNA Turret Truck AGV is an Industrial-Robot from America In Motion, Inc.. It is built for Material-Handling, Transport, Automated in-plant and warehouse load transport.
AIM's VNA Turret Truck AGV combines a very-narrow-aisle turret forklift with AGV automation for high-density pallet storage and retrieval in conventional warehouses up to 30 ft high, using standard post-and-beam racking and standard pallets without captive rails or special flooring - a lower-cost alternative to AS/RS for mid-range throughput and high SKU counts. A multi-stage mast and turret head handle pallets on either side of the aisle and can store directly to the floor. It uses laser guidance for general travel and switches automatically to wire guidance for precise aisle entry, while a laser measurement system gives continuous X/Y feedback for pallet positioning at every level. It follows instructions over Wi-Fi from AIM's fleet manager, which interfaces with the WMS to manage pallet moves, confirm transactions and keep full traceability, and carries AIM's standard safety package.
