DESCRIPTION
AIM Forklift AGV is an Industrial-Robot from America In Motion, Inc.. It is built for Material-Handling, Transport, Automated in-plant and warehouse load transport. Key figures: 7257 kg payload.
AIM's Forklift AGVs are driverless, laser-guided fork trucks built in the USA for pallet transport, staging and rack placement in manufacturing plants, warehouses and distribution centres - for example deep-lane storage, picking loads from the end of production lines, wrappers or palletisers and stacking them two to three high in storage lanes. Options include an all-electric lift, single or double forks, carton and top clamp attachments, quad travel and outriggers. The standard configuration lifts up to 16,000 lb (about 7,260 kg) with 48-inch forks to 25 ft, at 6 in/s, travels at up to 1.7 m/s (2.5 m/s optional), turns in about 78 inches, handles +/-3 degree gradients, runs on a 48 V 380 Ah lead-acid battery with fast-charge auto-docking, and is laser-guided indoors, with outdoor and other navigation options. Each scanner has speed-dependent slow-down and stop zones, backed by four e-stops, front and rear obstacle sensors and Keyence safety bumpers.
