Beijing-based Wanjing Qianxun combined an end-to-end vision-language-action model with high-precision force-control joints. The event attracted 337 applications and gives winners access to incentives, computing support and local test scenarios. The award signals policy support for manufacturing-focused AI, not yet commercial proof of the winning robot.
Hyperion Robotics Raises US$7.4 Million to Build UK Robotic Microfactory
Finnish startup Hyperion Robotics raised US$7.4 million to launch its first UK robotic microfactory, using robotics and automated design to manufacture infrastructure components faster and with less material than traditional construction.
