DESCRIPTION
VEX IQ (2nd gen) is an Educational-Robots from VEX Robotics. It is built for Education.
VEX IQ (2nd generation) is VEX Robotics' snap-together plastic robot construction system for middle-school students, used both in classrooms and in the VEX IQ Robotics Competition. It needs no prior robotics knowledge: students build a first robot quickly and the wide range of beams, plates, gears, sprockets, chain and wheels lets them go on to build almost anything they imagine. The Education Kit holds more than 750 parts, a Robot Brain with a colour screen, a controller, a lithium-ion robot battery, four Smart Motors, a Touch LED, a Bumper Switch, an Optical Sensor and a Distance Sensor, all in organised storage bins; the Competition Kit adds more than 1,000 further parts and two more motors. Robots are coded in VEXcode with blocks, Python or C++, and the battery charges over USB-C in 2 hours and lasts a full classroom day.
