VersaBox VERSABOT 500 autonomous mobile robot

DESCRIPTION

VERSABOT 500 is an Industrial-Robot from VersaBox. It is built for Intralogistics, Material-Handling, Transport. Key figures: 267 kg, 480 min runtime, 750 kg payload.

The VERSABOT 500 (VB500) is VersaBox's flagship autonomous mobile robot and the workhorse of its AMR fleet, a low platform suited to most intralogistics jobs on the shop floor. It moves loads to their destination in the warehouse or on the production line, and its modular design lets it be adapted to specific environments and types of cargo - for example with a lift module that picks pallets, containers or gitterboxes from roller conveyors or pallet holders, or with coupler modules for towing carts. Like all VERSABOTs it needs no changes to the building - no magnetic or induction lines or beacons - and can start work out of the box: an operator indicates a point on the map and the robot drives there autonomously, without a joystick. Front-mounted or bi-directional 3D camera sensor packs support precise manoeuvring and obstacle avoidance, and standardized top modules adapt it to different payloads and transfer systems. The VB500 carries up to 750 kg, drives at up to 2.0 m/s and runs for about 8 hours per battery charge; the platform weighs 267 kg and measures about 1,707 x 704 x 347 mm.
