DESCRIPTION
TLS 3600 is an Industrial-Robot from TRAPO. It is built for Heavy-Load-Transportation, Intralogistics, Loading. Key figures: 3600 kg payload.
The TLS 3600 (TRAPO Loading System) is TRAPO's autonomous truck and container loading system, built to take forklifts out of the loading bay. It is named after its key feature: it picks up a row of three pallets of up to 1,200 kg each - 3,600 kg in total - and drives them into the trailer in a single operation, regulating its own position before and while it enters the truck. Unloading works the same way in reverse. Each system pairs the autonomous vehicle with a dock. In the dock, up to three pallets are placed side by side on conveyors and aligned; the vehicle picks up the row and loads it, while the next row is already being formed, so loading runs continuously without waiting times. TRAPO says this cuts loading of a 14-metre trailer with 33 Euro pallets to under 25 minutes, depending on the load, and needs far less space than one-shot systems that stage a whole truckload in a 12-metre zone. The dock is fixed in front of one loading door or moves on wheels or rails to serve up to three doors, and the vehicle is either cable-powered or battery-powered, giving six variants (TLS 3600 F-W, F-B, W-W, W-B, R-W and R-B). The patented system won a Handling Award, and customers can test it with their own pallets at TRAPO in Gescher.
