NKC KOLEC ROBO Fork15 autonomous forklift (1.5 t)

DESCRIPTION

ROBO Fork15 is an Industrial-Robot from Nakanishi Metal Works (NKC). It is built for Intralogistics, Loading, Material-Handling. Key figures: 1915 kg, 300 min runtime, 1500 kg payload.

ROBO Fork15 is NKC's driverless forklift for carrying pallets of up to 1,500 kg inside factories and warehouses. It navigates by mapping with no guide wires or tracks, routes are set and changed on a PC, and one PC manages several forklifts over a wireless link. Laser range finders front and rear scan 360 degrees for localisation and slow or stop the truck near people and obstacles; three emergency-stop buttons, bumper switches, a fall-prevention sensor and pallet-presence and pallet-hole sensors complete the safety kit. NKC has added a pallet-width sensor that slides the forks to fit different pallets, depth sensing for unmanned stacking, a floor-projected safety zone and a melody warning sound. The truck is 2,520 mm long, 970 mm wide and 1,820 mm tall with forks lowered, weighs about 1,915 kg, lifts to 2,500 mm and travels at 60 m/min with +/-15 mm repeat stop accuracy. A 24 V / 201 Ah battery runs about 5 hours and charges in 3-4 hours; an automatic charger and other fork sizes are options. NKC builds each installation to order around the customer's loads.
