DESCRIPTION
AFL is an Industrial-Robot from Rapyuta Robotics. It is built for Intralogistics, Lifting, Loading. Key figures: 1350 kg payload.
The Rapyuta AFL is Rapyuta Robotics' autonomous forklift, built on its rapyuta.io platform to move pallets in existing warehouses with no reflectors or magnetic tape: it scans 360 degrees with LiDAR and uses the laser point cloud to localise itself and detect obstacles, so it can be deployed quickly and adapted when layouts change. It handles pallets of any material and size, including steel-frame pallets, loads and unloads standard racks, flat storage areas and conveyors, stacks and unstacks at random heights and can 'double stack' to place a pallet further out when it cannot stop close to a conveyor. It lifts up to 1.35 tonnes to 4.5 m, passes through aisles with only 150-200 mm side clearance and 50 mm behind, and has moved about 30 pallets an hour at customer sites, including night shifts. A lithium-ion battery recharges in three hours and the AFL docks itself to charge; it integrates with a WMS, runs in Japanese or English and is backed by 24/7 support.
