DESCRIPTION
SMUR X1 is a Cleaning-Robots from Snowbotix. It is built for Cleaning, General-Automation, Spraying. Key figures: 360 min runtime.
The Snowbotix SMUR X1 is an autonomous, modular, fully electric tracked robot for year-round outdoor maintenance, which Snowbotix describes as designed from a blank CAD file for extreme duty rather than adapted from an agricultural robot, warehouse AGV or consumer mower. It clears snow and ice, sweeps debris and handles mowing and brush on recurring routes and zones across commercial, municipal, industrial and defence properties, operating down to -40 F with no cab or operator seat and always under human supervision; a person can take control in under three seconds, and it stops on loss of connection, position or confidence. Navigation comes from Snowbotix's Autonomy-in-a-Box module, fusing RTK GPS (+/- 1 in accuracy), LiDAR, radar, stereo vision and an IMU at 25 Hz, with thermal sensing for obstacle detection in whiteout and fog, inside a mapped geofence. Nine attachments connect through a tool-free interface in under five minutes: an adjustable V-plow, two-stage snow blower, granular de-icing spreader, liquid de-icing sprayer, snow and debris sweeper brush, sweeper with bin collector, 60 in turf rotary mower, flail mower and rotary brush cutter. A 72 V drivetrain delivers up to 7,322 lb-ft of torque and 60-degree gradeability, with autonomous speed capped at 3.2 mph. The self-heating 400 Ah LFP battery runs up to 6 hours (5 hours with the snow blower) and charges in up to 9 hours on a wireless dock, with a 65 Ah hot-swap backup battery and heated wireless docking stations for autonomous charging.
