DESCRIPTION

SenseRobot Chess Lite is the lower-priced version of SenseRobot's chess robot. It plays on flat disc pieces printed with the piece symbols instead of standard 3D pieces, and the US model adds international draughts on the same board. A four-axis robotic arm with an anti-pinch gripper moves the robot's pieces, and a camera system reads the board. For chess it offers 25 levels from Elo 200 to 2900 plus an online duel mode at Elo 3200; draughts has 10 levels, with 8 x 8 American checkers promised in a later update. The training content is the same European Chess Union curriculum as the full model: more than 1,200 lessons, 145 endgames and 100 classic games replayed with voice commentary. It has a 5-inch screen, connects over 2.4 or 5 GHz Wi-Fi for cloud sync and updates, and is set up once through the SenseRobot app. Assembled it measures 570 x 470 x 385 mm and weighs 4.86 kg. Chess Lite launched on Indiegogo in April 2025 from US$459; the 2-in-1 chess and draughts model sells in the US for US$699.
