DESCRIPTION

SenseRobot Chinese Chess is the Xiangqi robot that started SenseRobot's line. Launched in China in August 2022 as SenseTime's first household consumer product, it plays Xiangqi against a person on a real board: a camera reads the position and a robotic arm moves the robot's own pieces. It was certified by the Chinese Xiangqi Association and promoted by Olympic champion Guo Jingjing. The robot connects over 2.4 or 5 GHz Wi-Fi and is set up through the SenseRobot app, which saves game records for registered players; a guest mode plays without saving. It runs from a mains adapter and cannot be powered over USB. The international store sells the Chinese-language version, with a Chinese GB-standard power adapter, for US$589 (regular US$699).
