SakarBot

DESCRIPTION

SakarBot is an Industrial-Robot from Sakar Robotics. It is built for Cleaning, Machine-Tending, Material-Handling. Key figures: 360 min runtime, 150 kg payload, 850 mm reach.

SakarBot is a configurable mobile manipulation robot from Sakar Robotics. It puts a robotic arm on a vertical lift mounted on an autonomous wheeled base, so one machine can carry loads, inspect a facility and pick and place parts on different missions. The base carries up to 150 kg and travels at up to 2.0 m/s on level floors. It localises to within 5 cm, detects obstacles all around it out to 5 m, climbs 10-degree gradients and has 100 mm of ground clearance. The arm handles 5 kg with a reach of 850 mm and a repeatability of 0.01 mm. Missions last up to 6 hours, and the robot docks itself for a 45-minute rapid charge. It works between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius. Sakar's software fuses data from several sensors, plans and coordinates missions, uses force control during manipulation and logs every step for audit. Example tasks on the maker's site are moving pick-and-place, full-room mopping, facility inspection patrols such as reading gauges, and pallet and load transport. The company targets pharmaceutical, manufacturing and construction sites.
