REVOLUTION is Deep Trekker's heavy-duty portable ROV, built for longer and more demanding missions with greater payload, stability and power. Its distinctive camera head rotates through 260 degrees and can carry an integrated sonar that turns with the camera, so pilots can inspect hulls, welds or targets all around without repositioning the vehicle and losing station in current. The vehicle measures 440 x 235 x 717 mm, weighs 33 kg in air and is rated to 305 m, with a stainless steel frame, anodized aluminium body, carbon fibre shell, sapphire and acrylic windows and magnetically coupled, sealed thrusters. A 19.2 V, 18 Ah LiFePO4 battery powers it, and copper tethers up to 300 m or fibre tethers up to 2 km are available. Through the BRIDGE architecture it combines real-time GPS tracking, USBL positioning and DVL with automatic station keeping, waypoint navigation, dead reckoning, mission planning and 3D modelling, and it takes manipulators, cavitation cleaners and multibeam sonars as add-ons. Packages are BASE, RECON and NAV.
