Quantra is a four-directional automatic vehicle for the textile industry that handles reel-holding panels within creels in the tufting process, carrying about 300 kg suspended from its upper supports. A supervision system manages nine vehicles working simultaneously, all with opportunity charging. Like Esatroll's other vehicles it is designed and built in-house in Switzerland and adapted to each customer's plant, and it can be run by Esatroll's customised supervisor, which takes calls from workstations, assigns vehicles, manages right of way and load delivery and logs activity.
