DESCRIPTION
Premex SLX is an Industrial-Robot from Muratec. It is built for Intralogistics, Material-Handling, Transport.
Premex SLX is Muratec's forklift-type AGV for automating pallet handling in existing warehouses and production sites. It navigates by SLAM, so it needs none of the laser reflectors or magnetic spots that older AGVs rely on, and routes can be changed easily as the layout or the business changes. A multidrive travel system lets it move sideways and turn 90 degrees on the spot. That makes handovers with production equipment smooth and lets it work in narrow, cramped spaces. It uses oil-free electric cylinders instead of hydraulics, so it suits clean environments such as pharmaceutical and food manufacturing. Combined with existing pallet racks or mobile racks, SLX turns them into an automated warehouse. In pallet-rack installations the AGV's replenishment aisles can be kept separate from the aisles where people pick, for a safer and more efficient picking system.
