DESCRIPTION
PGuard is a Mobile-Robots from Enova Robotics. It is built for Security, Inspection, Monitoring. Key figures: 250 kg, 480 min runtime.
PGuard (P-Guard) is Enova Robotics' rugged, fully autonomous all-terrain security patrol robot for industrial plants, nuclear plants, military areas, airports, ports, railways, logistics warehouses, abandoned sites and construction zones. It patrols autonomously or under secure remote control with anti-collision safety, runs on-demand 'Click & Go' interventions and random hideouts, escorts people through high-risk areas, detects intrusions and anomalies with AI, removes doubt through remote verification and questioning, and sends alerts to the control interface, with pre-recorded messages or live interpellation through its loudspeakers. Four electric motors drive four wheels at up to 12 km/h; it climbs 20 cm obstacles and 25-degree inclines, works from -20 to +50 C, patrols for 8 hours on a charge - a full night - and returns by itself to its charging station, which recharges it in 2 hours, with batteries rated for 3,000 cycles. It weighs 250 kg with payload and measures 150 x 110 x 160 cm. Centimetre-level navigation, detection and avoidance of static and dynamic obstacles and secure Wi-Fi mesh or 4G links support its patrols, while four HD colour cameras give 360-degree vision and a panoramic turret carries a thermal camera and a day/night camera with 32x optical zoom and infrared illumination for observation up to 500 m, plus two loudspeakers and a microphone. Tunisia's Interior Ministry used PGuard robots to enforce the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown in Tunis.
