Jaguar V4 is Dr Robot's four-flipper tracked platform for indoor and outdoor work needing higher ground clearance and tough-terrain mobility. Its four articulated track arms reconfigure the robot - all up, all down, extended or front-up - to climb slopes over 55 degrees, stairs and 300 mm steps and traverse 360 mm gaps, raising ground clearance from 38 mm to 150 mm; the weather- and water-resistant, shock-resistant chassis survives a 600 mm drop and works from -30 to +40 C at up to 5.5 km/h. It is fully 802.11n wireless, with a 5 Hz GPS and 9-DOF IMU for autonomous navigation, a 640 x 480 camera with audio, headlights and an optional laser scanner. A ready-to-use control and navigation application, gamepad control with an optional head-mounted display or NVIDIA Shield controller, and a full SDK with sample code for Microsoft Robotics Studio, Visual Studio, ROS, NI LabVIEW, MATLAB and Java are supplied. A 22.2 V 10 Ah LiPo battery gives 1.5 hours nominal (optional 3), and it carries 15 kg or drags 50 kg on flat ground.
