DESCRIPTION

Mirokai is a Humanoid from Enchanted Tools. It is built for Companionship, Customer-Service, Guidance.

The Mirokai are Enchanted Tools' social robots, and the company's central idea is that a robot should be a character rather than an appliance. They were designed by animation experts working with industrial designers, come as two characters - Miroki and Miroka - and are now in their first commercial deployments in healthcare, hospitality, events and public-facing settings. The machine is built for real environments rather than the lab. Multimodal AI handles natural conversation, scene understanding and responsive interaction; navigation is autonomous and adaptive, holding reliable positioning across carpets, cables and indoor thresholds; and the robot docks and recharges itself on a self-aligning station for continuous operation with minimal supervision. AI-assisted grasping and carrying let it handle objects and run everyday service errands, and it monitors its surroundings continuously for safe movement in shared space, with protected joints, a low centre of gravity and explicit visual feedback to the people around it. Connectivity is through an embedded cellular modem and Wi-Fi 6E, in a fully enclosed design with enhanced audio. Enchanted Tools sells them for hospitals and clinics, nursing homes and supported living, retail, hotels and restaurants, airports and museums - guiding, welcoming, answering questions and providing companionship. Customisation runs from branded outfits and colours, through a distinctive new character built on the Mirokai platform, to a wholly original character designed with the customer. Deployments so far include a study with the Mather Institute in Evanston, Illinois, a day-care centre in San Jose, care settings with APREH in France, and a concierge trial at Lyon-Saint Exupery Airport.
