DESCRIPTION

Martian is UniX AI's bipedal humanoid — a 148 cm, 40 kg walking robot with 32 degrees of freedom spread across 12-DoF legs, 14-DoF arms, a 3-DoF waist and a 2-DoF head. Motors peak at 150 Nm, giving it a 4 m/s top speed and the ability to squat, bend and pick objects straight off the floor, with a 5 kg payload and an 11-DoF industrial-grade dexterous hand for fine manipulation. Limb proportions are human-scaled at 320 mm thigh and shank and 240 mm upper arm and forearm. A 40T compute platform with 32 GB of memory fuses a depth camera, two RGB cameras and an IMU over a CAN-FD bus, and UniX AI develops all core components in-house.
