DESCRIPTION
MANIFESTO/INDY Elbow is a Medical-Robots from Motorica. It is built for Medical-Assistance, Rehabilitation, Helping. Key figures: 0.9 kg.
The MANIFESTO/INDY Elbow is Motorica's bionic prosthesis for above-elbow (shoulder-level) amputations, part of its robotic prosthesis line. It combines a mechanically driven elbow joint, which the wearer bends from 15 to 145 degrees and locks at the required angle, with either the multi-grip MANIFESTO hand or the single-grip INDY hand, whose opening and closing is driven by a small, powerful electric motor under EMG sensor control. The hand rotates passively up to 180 degrees, the prosthesis is protected to IP54 and weighs from 940 g, and a three-strap harness with a leather underarm pad adjusts fit in three directions. It gives 800 to 1,200 grips per charge at 7.4-7.5 V, recharges in two to six hours and works from -10 to +40 C. It is intended for users aged 12 and over and helps with everyday household tasks.
